MEMBERSHIP RULES

Types of Member Ship

1. Life Member:

shall be a qualified medical practitioner, registered with the Medical Council of India / State Medical Council. Only Life members will have voting rights and will be able to contest for a post of the Executive Council.

2. Associate Member:

shall be a person interested in the Aims and Objectives of the Society and willing to abide by its rules. Associate members will not have voting rights and will be unable to contest for any posts to the Executive Council.

3 .Non-Resident Life Member:

shall be a person residing outside the geographical boundaries of India, who is otherwise eligible to be admitted as a Life Member and having interest in the activities of the Society. Non-Resident Life Members will not have voting rights and will be unable to contest for any posts to the Executive Council. If their residence status changes to becoming resident in India, they may convert to Life Membership by paying a nominal sum of Rs.1000/- for administrative expenses.

4 .Founder Member:

of the Society shall be that Life Member who founded the Society at its inception. All founder members will be the permanent voting members of the Executive Council.
